The Lincoln-Way Central Knights softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Jacobs Golden Eagles to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Lincoln-Way Central improves its record to 22-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a SouthWest Suburban game on Tuesday, May 16. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 18-10. Lincoln-Way West won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL)

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 16. Jacobs will attempt to improve on its 11-22 season record. The Foxes come into the game with a 28-1 record after their 12-0 league win over Minooka (Minooka, IL).
