Indiana High School Softball - Madison-Grant bounces Union City

May 13, 2023: Fairmount, IN 46928

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Madison-Grant Argylls (Fairmount, IN) and the visiting Union City Indians (Union City, IN), witnessed Madison-Grant's softball squad prevail over Union City by a count of 12-1.

The Argylls now sport a 21-3 record. They play next when they host Cowan for a non-league match on Saturday, May 13. Madison-Grant will meet a Blackhawks squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 16-4.

With the loss, Union City moves to 8-14 on the season. The Indians host Cambridge City Lincoln (Cambridge City, IN) to meet the Golden Eagles in a Tri-Eastern match on Monday, May 15. The Golden Eagles go into the match with a record of 7-7. Cambridge City Lincoln lost 9-1 in their recent non-league match against Connersville (Connersville, IN)
