In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Traverse City Central Trojans softball squad scored a good 13-0 win over the Marquette Redmen.
The Trojans now sport a 18-5 record. They take the field next when they host Thornapple Kellogg for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 13.
With the loss, Marquette falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Redmen travel to Menominee (Menominee, MI) to face the Maroons in a Great Northern U.P. challenge on Friday, May 19. The Maroons enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Menominee lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Gladstone (Gladstone, MI)
