The McHenry Warriors softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Normal West Wildcats to 2 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, McHenry moves its record to 19-7 on the year. The Warriors host Central (Burlington, IL) to clash with the Rockets in a Fox Valley game on Monday, May 15. The Rockets come into the game with a record of 8-19.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 15. Normal West will attempt to move on its 24-8 season record. The Braves come into the game with a 26-5 record after their 16-5 league win over Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL).
