Williamsville South Billies (Williamsville, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sacred Heart Academy Sharks (Buffalo, NY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Billies now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williamsville East for a Section 6 Erie County II challenge on Monday, May 15. Williamsville South will face a Flames squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Sacred Heart Academy (Buffalo, NY). The Flames record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Sacred Heart Academy falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Nardin Academy (Buffalo, NY) to face the Gators in a Monsignor Martin challenge on Tuesday, May 16. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 13-1. Nardin Academy lost 9-4 in their recent league challenge against St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY)
