Schuylerville Horses (Schuylerville, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Voorheesville Blackbirds (Voorheesville, NY), 10-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Horses now sport a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 13. Schuylerville will face a Lancers squad coming off a 15-3 league win over Nichols (Buffalo, NY). The Lancers record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Voorheesville falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Blackbirds travel to Notre Dame (Batavia, NY) to face the Fighting Irish in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 13. The Fighting Irish enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Notre Dame won 9-6 in their recent league challenge against Webber (Lyndonville, NY)
