The Cloverdale Clovers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host North Central Thunderbirds to 6 in the Clovers non-league victory on Monday.
The Clovers (6-9) will now prepare for their match against Brown County (Nashville, IN). The Eagles go into the Western Indiana match with a 1-15 record. In their last match, Brown County was edged by North Daviess (Elnora, IN), 13-2, in a non-league match.
The Thunderbirds (2-14) will now prepare for their match against North Daviess (Elnora, IN). The Cougars go into the Southwestern Indiana match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, North Daviess edged Paoli (Paoli, IN), 9-3, in a non-league match.
