Pennsylvania High School Baseball - James Buchanan defeats Mifflin County

Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA) and the host Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA), saw James Buchanan's baseball squad knock off Mifflin County by a count of 7-1.

Coming up next, the Rockets play the West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Colonial battle, on Tuesday, May 14. James Buchanan will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 6-12 record after their 10-0 league loss to Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA).

The Huskies now possess a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Pennsboro for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 16. Mifflin County will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Middletown (Middletown, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 16-2.
