Lake Catholic Cougars (Mentor, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH), 9-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lake Catholic upgrades its record to 12-11 on the season. The Cougars travel to Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH) to battle the Lancers in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 15. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 16-8. Gilmour Academy won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH)

With the defeat, Orange falls to 5-12 on the season.
