In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Thomas Jefferson Vikings baseball team scored a tight 7-5 victory over the Petersburg Crimson Wave.
The Vikings (7-8) will now prepare for their game against Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Mavericks go into the Colonial game with a 13-5 record. In their last game, Freeman tipped Prince George (Prince George, VA), 14-0, in a non-league game.
