In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Westerly Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Stonington Bears.
The Bulldogs (13-3) will now prepare for their game against East Providence (East Providence, RI). The Townies go into the Division 2 game with a 13-3 record. In their last game, East Providence tipped Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI), 10-0, in a league game.
The Bears (11-6) will now prepare for their game against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Bobcats go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division III game with a 8-8 record. In their last game, Bacon Academy tipped Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT), 12-5, in a non-league game.
