The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) and the visiting Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC), saw East Wake Academy's soccer squad triumph over Excelsior Classical Academy by a count of 10-1.
The Eagles now hold a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Perquimans for a non-league test on Thursday, May 16. East Wake Academy will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Excelsior Classical Academy drops to 5-13 on the season.
