In Monday's league contest, the Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME) lacrosse squad routed the host John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME), by a count of 18-4.
Coming up next, the Black Bears confront the Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 16. Maranacook will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Red Eddies enter the contest with a 6-4 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME).
The Crusaders now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hampden for a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 15. John Bapst Memorial will confront a Broncos squad coming off a 10-3 league win over Edward Little (Auburn, ME). The Broncos record now stands at 4-3.
