The Brewer Witches softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Hermon Hawks to 1 in the Witches non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Brewer moves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Witches travel to Edward Little (Auburn, ME) to clash with the Red Eddies in a Class A North game on Wednesday, May 15. The Red Eddies come into the game with a record of 6-5. Edward Little lost 11-10 in their recent league game against Hampden (Hampden, ME)

In their next game, the Hawks clash with the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) in a Class B North game, on Tuesday, May 14. Hermon will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Crusaders come into the game with a 3-6 record after their 13-1 league win over Caribou (Caribou, ME).
