Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host St. Anthony Village Huskies (Minneapolis, MN), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 9-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forest Lake for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Centennial will battle a Rangers squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Roseville (Roseville, MN). The Rangers record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, St. Anthony Village falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Richfield (Richfield, MN) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 11-6. Richfield won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN)
