Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Prattville Christian Academy Panthers (Prattville, AL), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 37-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Orange Beach for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. Cherokee County will battle a Makos squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Houston Academy (Dothan, AL). The Makos record now stands at 42-1.

With the loss, Prattville Christian Academy falls to 29-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Madison County (Gurley, AL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 13. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 37-9. Madison County won 18-3 in their recent non-league challenge against White Plains (Anniston, AL)
