Illinois High School Softball - Salem bounces Crab Orchard

Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Salem Wildcats (Salem, IL) and the visiting Crab Orchard Trojans (Marion, IL), witnessed Salem's softball squad prevail over Crab Orchard by a count of 10-0.

The Wildcats now sport a 22-7 record. They play next when they travel to Mattoon for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 15. Salem will meet a Greenwave squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Casey-Westfield (Casey, IL). The Greenwave record now stands at 9-16.

With the loss, Crab Orchard moves to 18-11 on the season.
