Dakota Valley Panthers (North Sioux City, SD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Sioux Falls Christian Chargers (Sioux Falls, SD), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Dakota Valley will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Sioux Falls Christian falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Tea (Tea, SD) to face the Titans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 9-5. Tea lost 5-1 in their recent league challenge against West Central (Hartford, SD)
