The Northwestern Wildcats softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host General McLane Lancers to 10 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Northwestern improves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Wildcats host Union City (Union City, PA) to clash with the Bears in a District 10 Region 3 game on Tuesday, May 14. The Bears come into the game with a record of 9-9. Union City lost 7-4 in their recent non-league game against McDowell (Erie, PA)

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Meadville Bulldogs (Meadville, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 game, on Tuesday, May 14. General McLane will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 12-3 record after their 16-0 league win over Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA).
