George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME), 16-12 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Orono for a Class C North challenge on Wednesday, May 15. George Stevens Academy will face a Riots squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME). The Riots record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Lee Academy falls to 1-5 on the campaign.
