Wabash Apaches (Wabash, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lewis Cass Kings (Walton, IN), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Apaches now own a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they host Southwood for a Three Rivers challenge on Wednesday, May 15. Wabash will battle a Knights squad coming off a 7-1 league win over Manchester (North Manchester, IN). The Knights record now stands at 14-4.

With the loss, Lewis Cass falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Kings host Rochester (Rochester, IN) to battle the Zebras in a Three Rivers challenge on Wednesday, May 15. The Zebras enter the challenge with a record of 12-9. Rochester won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Whitko (South Whitley, IN)
