In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Millington Cardinals softball team scored a close 2-1 win over the North Branch Broncos.
Coming up next, the Cardinals battle the Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 16. Millington will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Dukes enter the outing with a 19-5 record after their 12-5 league win over Glenn (Bay City, MI).
The Broncos (4-9) will now prepare for their outing against Armada (Armada, MI). The Tigers enter the Blue Water Area outing with a 13-9 record. In their last outing, Armada was tipped by St. Clair (St. Clair, MI), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
