In Monday's non-league contest, the Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME) softball team held off the visiting Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME), by a margin of 6-5.

With the triumph, Mt. Ararat moves its record to 1-10 on the year. The Eagles travel to Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME) to play the Vikings in a Class A North contest on Wednesday, May 15. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 11-1. Oxford Hills won 19-2 in their recent league contest against Bangor (Bangor, ME)

In their next game, the Shipbuilders play the Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) in a Class B South contest, on Tuesday, May 14. Morse will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 8-2 league win over Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME).
