The St. Mary's Spartans (Lynn, MA) softball routed the visiting Notre Dame Academy Cougars (Hingham, MA), 9-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Spartans (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, MA). The Shamrocks go into the Catholic Central - Large bout with a 5-6 record.

The Cougars now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ursuline Academy for a Catholic Conference bout on Wednesday, May 15. Notre Dame Academy will confront a Bears squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Norfolk County Agricultural (Walpole, MA). The Bears record now stands at 8-5.
