Indiana High School Softball - South Putnam can't get by Riverton Parke

May 13, 2024: Montezuma, IN 47862

In Monday's non-league contest, the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) softball team held off the visiting South Putnam Eagles (Greencastle, IN), by a margin of 3-2.

With the triumph, Riverton Parke moves its record to 21-2 on the year. The Panthers host Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN) to play the Mustangs in a Wabash River contest on Wednesday, May 15. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 12-11. Fountain Central won 7-3 in their recent non-league contest against South Newton (Kentland, IN)

In their next game, the Eagles play the Northview Knights (Brazil, IN) in a Western Indiana contest, on Wednesday, May 15. South Putnam will attempt to move on its 9-12 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 9-11 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Tecumseh (Lynnville, IN).
