The Stoney Creek Cougars softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Seaholm Maples to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Stoney Creek improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league game on Thursday, May 16. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 10-2. Lake Orion won 12-0 in their recent league game against Oxford (Oxford, MI)

In their next game, the Maples clash with the Groves Falcons (Beverly Hills, MI) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 14. Seaholm will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
