Indiana High School Softball - Westfield gets by Western

May 13, 2024: Westfield, IN 46074

The Westfield Shamrocks got by the visiting Western Panthers softball squad by a final score of 5-4 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Shamrocks (11-11) will now prepare for their battle against Avon (Avon, IN). The Orioles go into the Hoosier Crossroads battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, Avon nudged Zionsville (Zionsville, IN), 9-1, in a league battle.

The Panthers now possess a 20-2 record. They play next when they host Oak Hill for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 15. Western will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 8-3 league win over Mississinewa (Gas City, IN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 19-5.
