The Vipers (14-13) will now prepare for their battle against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL). The Bluejays enter the non-league battle with a 19-8 record. In their last battle, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central held off Olympia (Stanford, IL), 4-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Cavaliers face the Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 14. Carlinville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Piasa Birds enter the battle with a 10-18 record after their 4-2 league loss to Gillespie (Gillespie, IL).
