The Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) baseball got by the host Evansville Memorial Tigers (Evansville, IN), 2-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Knights now own a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they host Henderson County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15. Castle will clash with a Colonels team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 10-16.
With the defeat, Evansville Memorial drops to 12-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Evansville Harrison (Evansville, IN) to clash with the Warriors in a Southern Indiana challenge on Wednesday, May 14. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 7-13.
