Illinois High School Baseball - Central nips Woodstock North

The Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) baseball got by the visiting Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL), 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Rockets now own a 15-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Huntley for a Fox Valley - Valley challenge on Wednesday, May 14. Central will clash with a Red Raiders team coming off a 9-2 league win over Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 15-12.

With the defeat, Woodstock North drops to 9-14 on the year. The Thunder host Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL) to clash with the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 6-21. Grayslake North won 6-4 in their recent league challenge against Antioch (Antioch, IL)
