In Tuesday's league game, the host Maple Grove Crimson baseball team scored a close 7-1 victory over the Coon Rapids Cardinals.
The Crimson (7-10) will now prepare for their game against St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 12-2 record. In their last game, St. Michael-Albertville held off St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN), 4-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cardinals face the Osseo Orioles (Osseo, MN) in a Northwest Suburban game, on Wednesday, May 14. Coon Rapids will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Orioles enter the game with a 3-14 record after their 5-3 league loss to Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN).
