Kentucky High School Baseball - Marshall County held off by McLean County

May 13, 2025: Benton, KY 42025

The Marshall County Marshals baseball squad (Benton, KY), 5-3 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY)

With the triumph, McLean County moves its record to 18-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to Daviess County (Owensboro, KY) to confront the Panthers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 14. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 17-14. Daviess County won 5-1 in their recent non-league contest against Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY)

The Marshals now possess a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trigg County for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 15. Marshall County will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-10.
