The Indians now own a 18-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kaneland for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 16. Sandwich will clash with a Knights team coming off a 6-2 league win over LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Knights record now stands at 19-9.

With the defeat, Mendota drops to 8-16 on the year. The Trojans travel to Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL) to clash with the Grey Ghosts in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 16. The Grey Ghosts go into the challenge with a record of 19-10. Illinois Valley Central won 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Princeton (Princeton, IL)
