The Vermilion Catholic Eagles baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Riverside Academy Rebels to 8 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.
The Eagles now hold a 25-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ouachita Christian for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. Vermilion Catholic will play a Eagles team coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 19-14.
With the defeat, Riverside Academy drops to 23-13 on the year. The Rebels travel to Northshore (Slidell, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, June 4. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 35-8.
