The South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) baseball got by the host Symmes Valley Vikings (Willow Wood, OH), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Pointers now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gallia Academy for a Ohio Valley challenge on Wednesday, May 14. South Point will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-0 league win over Fairland (Proctorville, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 10-11.
With the defeat, Symmes Valley drops to 14-8 on the year. The Vikings travel to Oak Hill (Oak Hill, OH) to battle the Oaks in a Southern Ohio II match on Wednesday, May 14. The Oaks come into the match with a record of 8-4. Oak Hill won 11-0 in their recent league match against Eastern (Beaver, OH)
