In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Maine South Hawks soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 win over the Highland Park Giants.
The Hawks (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL). The Grenadiers enter the non-league outing with a 8-9 record. In their last outing, Elk Grove by Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL), 3-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Giants confront the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, May 20. Highland Park will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 15-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Niles West (Skokie, IL).
