University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lutheran Northwest Crusaders (Rochester Hills, MI), 7-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, University Liggett moves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league test on Monday, May 19. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 7-5. L'Anse Creuse North lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI)

The Crusaders now sport a 4-12 record. They take the field next when they host Plymouth Christian Academy for a Michigan Independent - Blue test on Thursday, May 15. Lutheran Northwest will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league win over Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 11-4.
