Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT), 11-2 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Ridgefield advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers host Wilton (Wilton, CT) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 1-0.
The Black Knights now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warde/Ludlowe for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 15.
