Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the host Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC), 14-7 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Cuthbertson advances its record to 10-11 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, May 16. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 16-4. Lake Norman won 17-0 in their recent league game against South Iredell (Statesville, NC)

The Whirlies now sport a 9-12 record.
