The Elk Grove Grenadiers triumphed over the visiting St. Patrick Shamrocks lacrosse team by a tally of 14-8 in Tuesday's non-league match.
Next up, the Grenadiers confront the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a Mid Suburban match, on Saturday, May 17. Elk Grove will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 8-10 record after their 12-11 non-league loss to Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL).
The Shamrocks (1-18) will now prepare for their match against Niles Notre Dame (Niles, IL). The Dons enter the match with a 3-13 record. In their last match, Niles Notre Dame was overwhelmed by Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL), 8-5, in a non-league match.
