The Saugerties Sawyers lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the host Wallkill Panthers to 4 in the Sawyers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Sawyers now hold a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to O'Neill for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 20.

With the loss, Wallkill falls to 2-14 on the year. The Panthers host New Paltz (New Paltz, NY) to clash with the Huguenots in a Section 9 Division III challenge on Wednesday, May 14. The Huguenots go into the challenge with a record of 5-5. New Paltz lost 15-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Valley Central (Montgomery, NY)
