The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH) and the visiting Alvirne Broncos (Hudson, NH), observed Keene's softball team notch a victory over Alvirne by a tally of 17-1.

The Blackbirds (4-7) will now prepare for their bout against Nashua South (Nashua, NH). The Purple Panthers go into the Division I bout with a 5-8 record. In their last bout, Nashua South was routed by Goffstown (Goffstown, NH), 7-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Broncos battle the Spaulding Red Raiders (Rochester, NH) in a Division I bout, on Wednesday, May 14. Alvirne will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to Bishop Guertin (Nashua, NH).
