Illinois High School Softball - Macomb knocked off by Brimfield

The Brimfield Indians overwhelmed the host Macomb Bombers softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Tremont Turks (Tremont, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 14. Brimfield will attempt to upgrade on its 29-2 season record. The Turks go into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Athens (Athens, IL).

The Bombers (9-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL). The Hornets go into the non-league challenge with a 6-21 record. In their last challenge, Brown County was routed by New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly (New Berlin, IL), 8-2, in a non-league challenge.
