The Union County Patriots softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles to 5 in the Patriots league win on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Batesville for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 15.

With the loss, Cambridge City Lincoln moves to 3-8 on the season. The Golden eagles host Connersville (Connersville, IN) to confront the Spartans in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 15. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 15-8. Connersville lost 3-2 in their recent league battle against East Central (St. Leon, IN)
