The Oswego Panthers overwhelmed the visiting Carmel Corsairs softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Bolingbrook Raiders (Bolingbrook, IL) in a Suburban Prairie - South challenge, on Wednesday, May 14. Oswego will attempt to upgrade on its 27-1 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 4-21 record after their 11-1 league loss to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL).

The Corsairs (15-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Hilltoppers go into the East Suburban Catholic challenge with a 16-12 record. In their last challenge, Joliet Catholic was routed by Wilmington (Wilmington, IL), 12-2, in a non-league challenge.
