In Tuesday's non-league test, the Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chicopee Comp Colts (Chicopee, MA), by a tally of 23-5.
Next, the Golden Eagles clash with the Granby Rams (Granby, MA) in a PVIAC - Bi County test, on Wednesday, May 14. Central will attempt to advance on its 10-0 season record.
The Colts (3-14) will now prepare for their test against Chicopee (Chicopee, MA). The Pacers go into the PVIAC - Suburban test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Chicopee was routed by Drury (North Adams, MA), 18-2, in a non-league test.
