The Maple Grove Crimson softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Coon Rapids Cardinals to 0 in the Crimson league win on Tuesday.

The Crimson now possess a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wayzata for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 14. Maple Grove will confront a Trojans team coming off a 4-2 league win over Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Coon Rapids moves to 1-16 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Champlin Park (Champlin, MN) to confront the Rebels in a Northwest Suburban battle on Thursday, May 15. The Rebels come into the battle with a record of 14-2. Champlin Park won 6-5 in their recent league battle against Anoka (Anoka, MN)
