Illinois High School Softball - Sandburg sneaks past Downers Grove North

The Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) softball nipped the visiting Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Eagles now sport a 10-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln-Way Central for a SouthWest Suburban outing on Wednesday, May 14. Sandburg will encounter a Knights team coming off a 2-1 league win over Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Knights record now stands at 23-1.
With the loss, Downers Grove North moves to 13-12 on the season. The Trojans travel to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL) to encounter the Red Devils in a West Suburban - Silver outing on Wednesday, May 14. The Red Devils come into the outing with a record of 9-9. Hinsdale Central won 12-4 in their recent league outing against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL)
