Connecticut High School Softball - Ellington bounces South Windsor

The Ellington Knights softball team scored 5 runs and held the host South Windsor Bobcats to 0 in the Knights non-league win on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Enfield for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. Ellington will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 17-3 league win over East Catholic (Manchester, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, South Windsor moves to 2-13 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT) to encounter the Guardians in a Central Connecticut - North battle on Wednesday, May 14. The Guardians come into the battle with a record of 6-7. Glastonbury won 14-5 in their recent league battle against RHAM (Hebron, CT)
