In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Hale Ray Noises softball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Glastonbury Guardians.
The Noises (13-3) will now prepare for their match against Westbrook (Westbrook, CT). The Knights go into the Shoreline - Large match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Westbrook tipped Portland (Portland, CT), 13-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Guardians battle the South Windsor Bobcats (South Windsor, CT) in a Central Connecticut - North match, on Wednesday, May 14. Glastonbury will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Bobcats go into the match with a 2-13 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Ellington (Ellington, CT).
